With this e-mail, I would hereby like to compliment one of your employees, Neil Grant – Customer Service Representative at MTN Goldfields Mall, for the excellent service he provided me today. Mr. Grant helped me with a written quotation on a Samsung Galaxy S8 after I had lost mine on Saturday at Matlosana Mall in Klerksdorp. MTN direct advised me that they are not allowed to e-mail written quotations and that I should visit a MTN store. I travel extensively for work and this makes is it difficult to attend to personal matters such as replacing a lost phone through the insurance. I visited and phoned 4 different MTN outlets since Monday 14 May 2018 and requested exactly se same info as I requested from Mr. Grant.  

I have always been pleased with the service I received from MTN, but Mr. Grant’s professionalism and enthusiasm to get my issue solved (even though I am in a different province) exceeded my expectations. Within less than a minute I received the quotation and could forward it to my insurance company. (please see e-mail correspondence attached)

This type of professionalism and commitment to the highest level of customer’s satisfaction should be acknowledged. Having in mind such a pleasant experience with your employee, it would be my pleasure to continue doing business with your company for years to come and I will recommend Mr Grant to any person who needs a cellular deal. In sales, the only component that sets you apart from your competition is customer service, prices can be negotiated but service cannot be taught.

MTN / Maverick Telecom, has an astronomical asset in Mr Grant and will have a huge loss should Mr Grant ever decide to leave the Maverick Telecom company.

Again, Mr. Grant I thank you for exceeding all expectations and going over and beyond the call of duty.
